Marathon County Public Library Hosting Creative Writing Contest for Teens and Adults

Calling all storytellers. The Marathon County Public Library is excited to announce a creative writing contest open to teens and adults.
Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just have an idea waiting to be written, this is your chance to shine with original fiction, poetry, or short stories. The contest opens on June 14 and closes on July 14.
Submissions should be an original, unpublished piece of written work, created without the use of AI and not exceeding 5,000 words. Please check our website for the full list of submission requirements.
Entries can be emailed to [email protected] with the subject heading: ”Creative Writing Contest 2025 – ‘Your Age Group’.” Winning entries will be selected anonymously by judges and prizes awarded for first, second, and third place in each category, Teen (13-18) and Adult (19+).
