Sonny is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Sonny

Age: 3-Years-Old

Breed: Aussie Mix

Meet Sonny, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Sonny came to CCHS with his friend Cher and their pup Chaz from a local breeder towards the beginning of June. This handsome Aussie is 3 years old and weighs about 52# currently.

He has a gorgeous long-haired coat with the most beautiful coloring and markings. Sonny is a total gentleman! He has a very gentle demeanor with a love for playing.

He is always happy to see visitors and can't wait to get lots of attention. Sonny is now officially retired from his life as a breeding dog and is ready to live out his retirement with a loving furever family.

With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Sonny today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially puppies and kittens, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Sonny, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
