Tomah Fire Department Responds to Semi Fire at Kwik Trip in Tomah

At approximately 11:24 a.m. on Monday, the Tomah Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a semi on fire in the parking lot of Kwik Trip, located in Tomah.

Upon arrival, crews found the vehicle fully involved and quickly initiated fire suppression efforts. Assisting at the scene were the Tomah Police Department, Tomah Ambulance Service, PER Towing, and Monroe County Dispatch. The driver of the vehicle was inside the store at the time the fire broke out and was uninjured.

Thanks to the coordinated response from all agencies, the fire was contained and extinguished without further incident. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
