Spencer Woman Charged with her 7th OWI

(Heather Poltrock, WSAW) A 60-year-old Spencer woman has been charged with her 7th operating while under the influence offense.

According to Heather Poltrock with WSAW, Rhonda Seefeld remains in the Marathon County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond. The criminal complaint states a Marathon County detective stopped Seefeld’s vehicle on Saturday around 12:40 a.m. near Hwy 13 in Colby.

During the traffic stop, Seefeld told the detective she was driving from Spencer. She then went to multiple gas stations in Abbotsford and one in Curtiss before driving back to Spencer.

After noticing erratic behavior from Seefeld, the detective requested a K9 unit, which “alerted” while conducting a check on the vehicle. During the vehicle search, over three grams of meth, over a gram of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle.

Seefeld is facing charges including OWI and drug possession.
