The Highground Veterans Memorial Welcomes the Public to a Special Presentation this Thursday

The public is invited to a special presentation at The Highground on June 19 from 6-8pm to hear Vietnam Veteran Nurse Sarah L. Blum discuss her newest book, Warrior Nurse: PTSD and Healing and her Vietnam War service.

Sarah’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Sarah L. Blum is a decorated Vietnam Veteran who served as an operating room nurse stationed at the 12th Evacuation Hospital at Cu Chi during the intense combat of 1967.

She has led several PTSD and MST management/recovery workshops as part of The Highground’s retreats for female veterans. Sarah has gained recognition across the country for her advocacy and support for veterans of all eras.

The presentation is open to the public; however, the subjects discussed will not be appropriate for children under 16. The event will be offered in-person at The Highground Welcome Center and online/virtually.
