The Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department received a special award.

WRFD’s dedication to ensuring heart attack and stroke patients have access to best practices and life-saving care with timed goals in mind, has earned us a Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold award.

Their responders make this happen, always prepared and trained to provide the highest level of prehospital care to the community.  While they are not focused on obtaining awards, it is great to be recognized at the highest level for what they do everyday.
