Neillsville School Board Approves Temporary Electrical Connection and Other Items

The Neillsville School Board approved a temporary electrical connection to the middle school at their meeting on Monday.

According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the Board approved the temporary electrical connection to the middle school by VanErt in an amount not to exceed $19,649.

The Board also approved the wall removal and wall construction projects for the 2025 high school renovations in an amount not to exceed $73,189.05. The Board also approved the 2025-2026 Academic Standards and Education Options as modified, approved the 2025-2026 WASB membership, and the 2025-2026 WIAA membership.

The Board also approved the anonymous monetary donation to be used toward the author visit to the school library. In employment matters, the Board approved the resignation of Dale Erickson from his Transportation Director position and Todd Fischer from his middle school track coaching position.

The Board approved the hiring of Sara Ward for the teaching assistant position, Angela McIntyre for the Health Office Assistant position, John Schuller for the middle school football coaching position, Curtiss Lindner for the middle school football coaching position, Kendra Friemoth for the high school student council co-advisor position, and Kelsey Klein for the high school student council co-advisor position as presented.

The Board also approved the modified 2025-2026 support staff wage schedule. The Board also approved the revised letter of appointment for Johnette Place, Sasha Degenhart, Amanda Kowalczyk, Floyd Schoen, Hailey Hainz, and Brian Friemoth.

The Board also approved the additional duty bonus in the amount of $500 for Mark Spencer and the additional duty bonus in the amount of $500 for Michelle Kranz.

The Board also approved the 2025-2026 teaching contract for Tychelle Duelman. Finally, the Board approved the final adoption of Policy Section 6000, the initial adoption of Policy Section 7000, and the initial adoption of Policy 5411.
