Wausau Woman Arrested for 7th OWI with Children in the Vehicle

(Brad Miller, WAOW) A Wausau woman has been arrested for her seventh operating while intoxicated offense.

According to Brad Miller with WAOW, Tyquaniesha Bell, 28, was taken into custody by the Wisconsin State Patrol DeForest Post on May 29, 2025 in the early morning hours.

According to a release from the State Patrol, Bell was driving a maroon SUV with two children under 16 when she was stopped on Interstate 90/94 at milepost 92 - in Sauk County near Wisconsin Dells.

The Wisconsin State Patrol received a complaint about the vehicle's inability to maintain its lane or speed. Upon stopping the vehicle, a Trooper noticed signs of impairment and arrested Bell.
