Monday, November 3rd, 2008 -- 8:54 AM
Heading into the last few weeks of the campaign, 69th District Representative Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford) had a lot more money to work with than his Democratic challenger, Tim Swiggum.According to the Government Accountability Board report, Suder had just over $52,000 in his campaign coffers; Swiggum had just under $10,000.
The difference was mostly due to Suder?s starting balance of nearly $45,000. Swiggum started the last period with only $1,002. Both candidates raised around $10,000 during the period.
