Loyal School District Celebrates Seniors and Staff at End-of-Year Assembly

The Loyal School District recently celebrated many successes and accomplishments at their End-of-the-Year Assembly.

It was a special day to celebrate the incredible seniors, honor staff retiring or moving on, and recognize some truly outstanding members of the school community.

Congratulations to our 2024 award recipients:

Educators of the Year:

• Mr. Brandon DeSmet (Middle/High School)
• Mrs. Lori Rentmeester (Elementary)

Support Staff of the Year:

• Christy Zvolena (Elementary Secretary)
• Gary Morrison (Custodian)

A big thank you to everyone who submitted nominations. The final winners were thoughtfully selected by a group of students. They also want to express their deep appreciation and best wishes to their retirees: Miss Mary Ellen Johnson and Mr. Mark Rueth.
