Reminder: Marshfield Police Department Participating in National Click It or Ticket Campaign Which Starts Today

The Marshfield Police Department will be participating in the Click It or Ticket National Campaign starting today and running through June 1st.

The goal of Click It or Ticket is not simply to issue citations, but to educate the community on the lifesaving benefits of wearing a seat belt and to promote safety on the roads.

In Wisconsin, you can be stopped, and cited, for not wearing a seat belt. Drivers can also be cited for every unbuckled passenger in their vehicle. Buckling up is one of the best ways to reduce injuries and save lives during a crash, so be safe and be smart.
