Pittsville Man Arrested After a Traffic Stop in Marshfield

A Pittsville man was arrested after a traffic stop in Marshfield.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on Saturday May 10th, around 3:09am an officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of W. 14th St and Schmidt Ave in the City of Marshfield, in unmarked squad 91.

During the traffic stop, the 22-year-old Pittsville Male was taken into custody for OWI 1st. While at Marshfield Medical Center, the Male grew resistive with officers.

The male was transported to the Wood County Jail, and a request for charges has been sent to the Wood County District Attorney's Office for Resisting an Officer and Battery to a Law Enforcement Officer.
