Green Bay Man Arrested on a Warrant in the City of Marshfield

A Green Bay man was arrested on a warrant in the City of Marshfield.
According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, on Sunday, May 11th, around 2:37am, an officer witnessed a silver vehicle, possibly a Chevy Impala or similar, drive through a red light and strike a pole as it crossed Central Ave.
The vehicle was located immediately after as it pulled into and parked in the Pick N Save parking lot. The driver, a 32 year old Green Bay male, had a valid Department of Corrections warrant, was taken into custody, and a significant amount of a controlled substance and money was located on him.
He was also suspected of being intoxicated, but refused to perform field sobriety tests. A warrant was applied for and granted, and a blood draw was completed.
The male was later transported to the Wood County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Wood County D.A.'s office.
