Thorp Choir and Band Students Compete at State Solo & Ensemble

Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 -- 1:00 PM

On Saturday, May 3, Thorp Choir and Band students performed in 14 events at State Solo & Ensemble at UW-Eau Claire. 

These students performed a Class A piece at our District Solo & Ensemble Festival at Owen-Withee High School back in February and earned a rating of 1st, qualifying them to perform at State.

Gold Medal (1st)

• Jazz Strings Improvisation Solo - Allison Schultze

Silver Medal (2nd)

• Vocal Solos – Tripp Ehlert & Preslee Lew
• Music Theater Solo - Mackenzie Foster
• Soprano & Alto Vocal Duet - Cassandra Anderson & Lizzy Pritchard
• Saxophone Solos - Madison Gates & Jaedyn Stratton
• Euphonium Solo - Hailey Ciolkosz
• Misc. Woodwind Trio - Vivian Brown, Jaedyn Stratton, & Lucas Walteraitis
