(Wisconsin Radio Network) For the 30th straight year, Wisconsin leads the nation in cranberry production.
According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, the latest harvest report from the Wisconsin Cranberry Board shows that the state produced just over 6 million barrels of cranberries in 2024.
That represents over 60 percent of the nation’s cranberry supply, more than doubling the amount produced by the number two cranberry provider in the U.S., Massachusetts.
Of the 19 counties delivering that output, Wood County was the state’s leader, producing nearly a third of the total amount.
