Thorp Students Attend Meet the Music Performance

Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 -- 2:00 PM

On Tuesday, April 29, 5th graders from Thorp attended a Meet the Music Performance at the Osseo-Fairchild High School Auditorium.

The event was organized and sponsored by the CESA 10 Music Collaborative Team. This group of local music educators meets regularly to collaborate, and includes Mrs. Corcoran and Mrs. Stouffer.

The students watched a performance by Impromptu, an a cappella group from UW Eau Claire, as well as Cathy Reitz & 7 Swing, a local jazz band. The students were also able to ask questions of the performing groups during a Q & A time.

The day culminated with  lunch and an ice cream treat.
