Black River Falls Fourth Graders Plant Trees
Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 -- 9:00 AM

It's spring and it's time for planting trees.
The Black River Falls fourth graders, with help from Mr. Dave, Mr. Ben, and Mr. Chris from the Jackson County Forestry and Parks office, planted over 100 white spruce trees on Tuesday.
The students learned about pruning the roots and used tree planting spuds to put their tree in the ground. The students also learned that “their” tree could be up to 8 feet tall by graduation.
They thank the Jackson County Forestry and Parks Office for all of the hard work that went into planting the white spruce trees.
