Tomah K9 Officer Visits Tomah Students

Sergeant Perkins and K9 Viktor from the Tomah Police Department stopped by Tomah Area Montessori School.

The students were thrilled to meet Viktor and learn all about his important job in keeping the community safe. Sergeant Perkins explained how Viktor uses his incredible sense of smell to detect even the smallest scent. Sergeant Perkins also shared how K9 Viktor helps with tracking, detection, and protecting both officers and the public.

After answering some awesome questions from curious students, he wrapped up the visit by reading "K9 Mattis On The Job," giving everyone a fun look at life through a police pup’s eyes.
