Ribbon Cutting for Marshfield’s New Pickleball Complex June 7th; “Feed a Pet” Tournament June 6th & 7th

Pickleball continues to be the fastest growing sport in America.

According to Pickleheads.com, the sport grew over 45% in 2024 and the craze continues. This includes Central Wisconsin, with new pickleball courts springing up everywhere.

Locally, the most state-of-the-art addition is in Marshfield, WI, with 12 new dedicated outdoor courts located in Braem Park. Fundraising for the new MOVE FORWARD PICKLEBALL COMPLEX started a year ago with completion ending in fall of 2024.

The local Pickleball community group is hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, June 7 at 9am at the courts, located at 905 N. Cedar Ave, Marshfield, WI. where everyone is invited.

In conjunction with the Ribbon Cutting, will be the first “FEED A PET” Pickleball Tournament, which starts on Friday, June 6th and runs through June 7th.

The tournament is open to all levels and will feature free food on Saturday, along with hourly prize giveaways. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter.
