Loyal Students Compete in Jump$tart Teen Teach-In Event

A big shoutout goes to 14 Loyal High School students for volunteering in the first annual Jump$tart Teen Teach-In event.

Loyal teens created and planned a financial literacy lesson, and then became the teacher to students in grades 4K-5.  Students learned about savings goals, income and expenses, budgeting, investing, and prioritizing needs and wants all through engaging activities, stories, and crafts.

The Jump$tart Teen Teach-In is a nationwide program that uses an innovative peer-to-peer educational model, which brings high school students studying personal finance into the elementary school classroom to teach a financial lesson, benefits all involved and is a ton of fun.
