Friday, April 11th, 2025 -- 12:01 PM

The Neillsville High School Science Department recently hosted its annual March Mammal Madness competition, a thrilling district-wide event where students and classes faced off in a simulated tournament to determine which organisms were most fit in a toe-to-toe battle.
This mock tournament, produced each year by Arizona State University, has been a local tradition for the Neillsville Science Department for five years. This year, over 175 students and staff from 20 groups competed for the coveted title of Best Bracket.
Individual Bracket Winners:
- 1st place: Kysha Rakovec
- 2nd place: Mr. Waters
- 3rd place: Keagan Carlson
- Best Class Bracket: Mrs. Lawrence’s Class
Congrats to all the winners and participants for making this year’s March Mammal Madness a wild success.
