Marathon County Public Library Announces Cardholders to Have Free Access to Kanopy PLUS Starting April 16th

The Marathon County Public Library is excited to announce that starting April 16, 2025, library cardholders will have free access to Kanopy PLUS, an on-demand video streaming service with unlimited viewing of curated collections.

Kanopy PLUS offers a diverse selection of films and TV shows without ads or wait times. MCPL patrons will have access to three curated Kanopy PLUS packs:

• Kids: A collection of over 2,000 titles for children, featuring beloved characters like Paddington Bear, Madeline, Blippi, Sesame Street, and PBS Kids, as well as read-along storybooks by Vooks, Highlights, and Signed Stories.
• Favorites: A selection of staff and patron picks, featuring dramas, comedies, thrillers, documentaries, and television series with popular and acclaimed actors.
• Series: A binge-worthy collection of TV shows and documentaries, including thrillers, classic theater, reality series, and historical procedurals.

Library cardholders can access Kanopy PLUS on their smart TVs, mobile devices, or computers by logging in with their MCPL card and PIN. Please note that library accounts must be current and in good standing to access this service.
