Owen-Withee FBLA Members Attend State Leadership Conference

What a busy and exciting Day 1 of the State Leadership Conference for the Owen-Withee FBLA.

They started the day with Opening General Session where they heard from the state officer candidates, recognized Ms. Julie Kodl as the Wisconsin FBLA Business Person of the Year, and found out that Mr. Green was awarded the Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser for the Wisconsin FBLA.

Then it was off to workshops and competitions as members did final rehearsals, took in great messages from presenters, and made the push for Anaheim.

At the Second General Session, they heard about the financial health of the state association, recognized the Owen-Withee chapter on excellence in the Gold Seal and Champion Chapter programs, and brought home some more hardware with again winning 1st place in the Market Share award as a the chapter and Mason won 1st place in Who's Who in FBLA.

They ended the day waiting anxiously to see who made it to finals. They had three events presenting in the finals: Mason Gay in Future Business Leader, Jack Wendler in Business Plan, and Angela Baures, Sam Stephens, Kendall Weiler, and Mathew Wilson in Parliamentary Procedure.
