Tomah Academic Decathlon Team Makes History at State Competition

On March 6th and 7th, the Tomah Academic Decathlon team made history at the State competition in Green Bay.
Tomah scored a *record-breaking* 41,900 points, almost 2,000 points higher than any team in Tomah history. They finished 4th overall and were declared Division II Champions for the first time ever.
As a result, they're thrilled to announce that Tomah has earned an invitation to represent Wisconsin in the NATIONAL competition this May. A huge round of applause for the Academic Decathlon team members: Joanna Stryker, Ross Killgo, Abby Gordon, Lucy Jankowski, Collin Branch, Zoe Pergande, Gwyn Robertson, Raydan James, and Natalie Olson.
Super Quiz Team: Our team placed 4th, missing Bronze by just ONE question. Individual Achievements:
- Joanna Stryker: 3 Medals! Gold in Math, Silver in Art, Bronze in Science. PLUS, set school records in Math, Science, and Art!
- Ross Killgo: Gold in Social Science!
- Lucy Jankowski: Gold in Interview! -and tied the school record with a PERFECT 1,000 points!
- Gwyn Roberts: Bronze in Literature!
