With Warmer Weather, Marshfield Police Department Reminds Drivers to Watch for Bikes and Electric Scooters

Bikes and electric scooters are more prevalent on our roads this time of year, so the Marshfield Police Department reminds everyone to be mindful as the weather gets nicer.

It's also a good time to register your bicycle or electric scooter. The registration form is available here. Registering allows the police department to locate a lost or stolen bike or electric scooter.

Also, please follow these safety tips:

• Wear a properly fitted helmet
• Use hand signals and follow the rules of the road
• Wear bright colors and use lights
• Parents should ride together until their child can ride alone
