(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Marshfield man will serve prison time after he pled no contest to his 7th OWI charge in February.
Jason Peterson will serve three years in prison and five years on extended supervision for crashing his vehicle into a tractor on Highway 107 in rural Marathon County.
He blew a .09 on the breathalyzer, well above his limit of .02. The 50-year-old told officers he drank brandy after work before getting behind the wheel. His driver’s license has also been revoked for three years, and he must install an ignition interlock device on all of his vehicles.
He will also pay a $600 fine plus court costs. Peterson was given credit for 52 days already served in jail.
