Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 -- 11:00 AM

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved the Administrative Compensation Policy Updates at their meeting on Thursday.
The transition will begin on April 6th and affect 494 employees. The Board also approved a resolution supporting increased state funding for circuit court operations in the next state budget and approved the Maple Valley Mennonite Cemetery Plat.
The Board also approved moving their Annual Meeting from April 15th to April 17th. State Statute requires the County Board to hold their Annual meeting on the third Tuesday of April.
However, the various County Town Boards are also required to hold their meetings on that date. As many County Board members are also on Town Boards, the County Board approved moving the date.
The Board also approved the grant application for 2025-26 ATV/UTV Trail Maintenance Funding. Clark County has 241.2 miles of eligible trails. They’re eligible for $600 per mile for summer trail, $100 per mile for winter trails, $400 per mile for UTV trails, and $249 per mile for Troute. Clark County should receive $93,530.
The Board also approved the grant application for 2025-26 Snowmobile Trail Maintenance Funding. Clark County has 376.20 miles of eligible trails and can receive $300 per mile for the trails. The County should receive $112,860 for the trails.
The Board also approved a grant application for the replacement of culverts and asphalt aprons for the County’s ATV/UTV trails. They’re asking for a total of $33,800.
Finally, the Board also had the first reading of an ordinance regarding amendments to the Clark County Tax Code and they approved new members to the Aging and Disability Resource Center Board.
