Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation Releases 2024 Impact Report

(Blake Jackson, Wisconsin Ag Connection) The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation has released its 2024 Impact Report, showcasing its dedication to advancing Wisconsin agriculture through agricultural literacy, leadership development, and farmer support.

According to Blake Jackson with the Wisconsin Ag Connection, the report highlights the Foundation's commitment to cultivating informed consumers, engaged leaders, and resilient farmers. For numerous Farm Bureau members, the Foundation's programs have been instrumental in their personal and professional development.

“Thanks to programs like Young Farmer and Agriculturist and Leadership Institute, I’ve gained invaluable skills, expanded my network and grown as an advocate for agriculture,” shared Calumet County Farm Bureau member Kaitlyn Kesler. “These opportunities have strengthened my ability to represent farmers and share our agriculture story with confidence."

The 2024 Impact Report demonstrates the Foundation's significant contributions, including reaching 111,000 students through Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom, engaging 200,000 consumers via Gather Wisconsin's social media, and supporting 1,000 farmers through ten Farm Neighbors Care grant projects.

“Investing in further education for our members only helps the organization grow as a whole and set us up for the future,” shared Adams County Farm Bureau member Sara Huber. “These members go on to serve their communities in many capacities. The world is rapidly changing around us and the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation provides opportunities for educational programming helps us stay ahead of the times.”
