Marshfield Chamber of Commerce Holds Successful Reality Store

The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce had a very successful Reality Store event on March 13.

There were just under 600 8th grade students from the following school districts: Marshfield Middle School, Pittsville, Granton, St. Joseph's in Stratford, Neillsville, Auburndale, Columbus Catholic School, Loyal, Spencer and Greenwood.

At the 19th Annual Reality Store event, students were given a career and a family status where they learned to budget finances. They chose how to budget their finances from paying utilities, Savings/Donations, Investments/Retirements, Transportation & Gas, Computers and phone, housing, clothing, groceries, household needs, insurance, pet care, child care, college, entertainment and even recreation vehicles.
