Man Arrested in Marshfield After Crashing Into a Home

A man was arrested for OWI after driving into a home in Marshfield.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, just before midnight on Sunday, March 16th, the Department had received a report of a vehicle crashing into a home on Fairview Ave.

Officers made contact with the driver and a resident. The male driver was arrested for OWI (1st) and charges for Recklessly endangering safety will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorneys Office.

Also, just after 3am, early Sunday morning, March 16th, officers pulled over a vehicle on S. Central Ave. and 17th St. During the course of the traffic stop a 35-year-old Auburndale male produced a green plant material to Officers.

This material field tested positive for THC and a search was conducted. A request for charges will be sent to the Wood County District Attorney's Office on the male for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
