Thorp Students Participate in M3C MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge
Friday, March 14th, 2025 -- 11:01 AM

Some Thorp students are the first students from Thorp High School to participate in the M3C MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge.
They had 14 hours to write a model to solve a real world problem about energy usage and environmental changes. These students woke up early on Saturday March 1st to go to school and work on this problem.
This competition is for Juniors and Seniors, in teams of three to five members, and is strictly student-driven. The advisor/teacher can not help at all. Only the students can access the question and submit the response.
The M3C MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge is a great opportunity for outside of the box thinking. Vivian, Alex, and Brent did a great job!
