Chad is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Chad

Age: 3-Years-Old

Breed: Shepherd Mix

Meet Chad, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Chad came to CCHS as a transfer from another shelter that became very overpopulated. Chad is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix who weighs 51 #.

Chad is a very handsome boy with his short-haired coat of black, brown and white. He has some rather impressive ears, too! He has a pleasant outlook on life and is always curious when visitors stop by to see him.

He's still rather young so would benefit from an active lifestyle going for walks or hikes. Chad would prefer there not be any cats in his new home. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog.

Chad has been waiting since December to find his new family, so he really hopes it happens pretty soon! If you're looking for a new companion and best friend, please apply to adopt Chad today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially puppies, so be sure to check them all out. You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Chad, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
