City of Marshfield Enforcing Street Weight Restrictions Tuesday, March 11th

Monday, March 10th, 2025 -- 12:00 PM

Street Superintendent Tim Rasmussen will begin enforcing weight restrictions on marked roads in the City limits starting Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

The Street Division will place signs for motorists for seasonal weight restrictions by March 11th. The seasonal weight restrictions are as follows:

• 6-ton gross vehicle weight for single-axle vehicles
• 10-ton gross vehicle weight for tandem-axle vehicles
• 24-ton gross vehicle weight maximum

Seasonal weight restrictions will likely continue into the middle to late April. Please remember that the timing of seasonal weight restrictions is highly weather-dependent.
