Black River Falls Students Participate in Dorian Band Festival

This past weekend, 13 talented Black River Falls High School musicians participated in the 75th Dorian Band Festival at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

They spent hours in rehearsals on Sunday and Monday, enjoyed an incredible concert by the Luther College Concert Band and Jazz Orchestra, and took the stage themselves for a phenomenal performance on Monday evening. The students played in three ensembles including an auditioned symphonic band and two massed bands.

Students that participated included Andrea Cogswell, Josie Demaske, Zach Dobson, Casso Eagen, Ava Gilberg, Bailey Goldsmith, Keanau Goldsmith, David Jacobs, Karolann Mann, Lillian Ottum, Garrett Tande, Grace Tande, and Jackson Tiedens.
