Thorp FCCLA Students Compete in STAR Events

Thorp FCCLA students recently participated in STAR events.

Lily Person and Kianna Rabuck also participated in Culinary Skill Demonstration: Baking. As sophomores, they were given a recipe for sugar cookie bars that they had to make.

They had to use mise-en-place, a French technique where you measure and prep all your ingredients ahead of time. Both students earned a gold and will be advancing to state.
