Clark County Health Department Recognizes Abbotsford School District as "Lactation Friendly Workplace"

On Tuesday, February 25th, the Clark County Health Department’s two Certified Lactation Counselors (CLCs), Katie and Corrine, presented the School District of Abbotsford with a certificate of recognition for being a “Lactation Friendly Workplace.”

Katie and Corrine toured the school with District Administrator Ryan Bargender to find appropriate lactation spaces within the building for their employees.

In addition, the district’s “Lactating Employees” policy and procedure was reviewed. The Abbotsford School District is dedicated to the health of our community, their employees, and their families! Congratulations!
