Thorp FCCLA Students Compete in STAR Events

Thorp FCCLA students recently competed in STAR events.

Arielle Tovar saw a rise in anxiety in young children and wanted to do something about it. She participated in Focus on Children and utilized the book The Anxious Avocado and some corresponding activities to help second graders in the district know how to recognize and manage their feelings.

Arielle earned a silver and will be advancing to state.
