Hixton Man Sentenced for Jackson County Home Invasion

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A Hixton, Wis. man charged in a Jackson County home invasion is sentenced.
According to WEAU staff, court records show Anthony Sylvester IV is sentenced to 8 years in prison and 6 years extended supervision. Sylvester Plead no contest to 1st degree reckless injury.
The remaining charges were dismissed but read in. Deputies say on Oct. 12, 2023, just before midnight, they got a call that a home in the Village of Hixton was broken into
They identified the suspect as 32-year-old Anthony Sylvester IV. They say he used a gun when he entered the home and confronted the people who lived there.
