Wood County Closing All Snowmobile Trails at 8am This Monday

Wood County is CLOSING ALL Snowmobile Trails, effective 8 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 due to deteriorating conditions.

Snow on trails is thin so please ride with caution over the weekend. Powers Bluff ski and tube hills are OPEN this weekend. The multi-use trail is OPEN for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, & biking.

Current trail conditions for the single-track bike trail can be found at Trailbot.com, or on the trailbot app. The Nepco Lake County Park multi-use trail has been groomed for cross country skiing.

During the winter months, this trail is only open for cross country skiing. All other users must use the single-track trail. The Richfield 360 County Forest multi-use trails are OPEN for use and are groomed.
