Thorp FCCLA Students Compete in STAR Events

Thorp students recently competed in the FCCLA Star Events.

Hailey Ciolkosz was able to compete in the Culinary Creations competition. Competitors were given a prompt and then had to use at least 3 different piping tips to decorate a cake with that prompt. Hailey was given “seasons” and created a snowman cake.

A special thank you to Mrs. Akstin Literski for working with Hailey and teaching her decorating techniques. Hailey earned a silver and will be advancing to state.
