Loyal School District Holds Second Strategic Planning Meeting
Thursday, February 13th, 2025 -- 11:00 AM

The School District of Loyal hosted its second Strategic Planning meeting on Wednesday evening, February 5th, 2025.
Following a light supper provided by the Loyal Food Service Department, the Task Force members engaged in a discussion around the following question: If the School District of Loyal could invest in five key items, what would they be?
Based on the responses from this question, and the questions discussed during the first planning session in September, emerging themes were identified.
Mr. Chris Lindner, Superintendent, provided an overview to the Task Force Community members about scheduling, consolidation, collaboration, and the possibility of a daycare.
Following Mr. Lindner’s comments, the participants were asked to prioritize the predominant themes that emerged from the January planning sessions. The six top ranked themes were:
- Staff Development, Recruitment, and Retention;
- Trust, Transparency, Accountability, and Clarity;
- Facilities and Resources;
- Financial Planning/Utilizing Resources Efficiently;
- College and Career Readiness.
The School District planning team is now tasked with developing a Strategic Plan reflecting the priorities established by the Task Force. A rough draft of the district’s newly developed strategic plan will be presented at the third Strategic Planning Task Force meeting on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025.
