Thursday, February 13th, 2025 -- 8:01 AM

The Marshfield School Board approved a budget amendment at their meeting on Wednesday.
The budget amendment involves an increase of $3,868 in revenue due to the final allocation of the Carl Perkins Grant coming in higher than projected. An expense budget increase of $3,868 for the Carl Perkins Grant will be implemented to accompany the increase in revenue.
The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act was reauthorized in 2018 by the United States Congress. Under this act, congress appropriates roughly $1.3 billion annually in state formula grants for the development and implementation of CTE programs.
