Breed: Red Heeler Mix
Meet Starlord, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Starlord came to CCHS earlier this January from a local farm where there were too many puppies. Starlord is a Red Heeler mix, and has a short-haired coat that is red and white with lots of speckles.
He is 11 weeks old and weighs 14.0#. Starlord is a typical puppy: happy, energetic, and filled with love. He's ready for lots of playtime but also ready for a puppy nap in between.
Starlord came to CCHS with his brothers Drax and Yondu and they are just as handsome as he is! With any puppy, especially high-energy breeds like Heelers, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup.

This Friday and Saturday, February 14th and 15th, is our "Paw-Lease Be Our Valentine" adoption special! Adopters adopting any dog 1 year or older on February 14th & 15th, will get to pick a Valentine!
Each Valentine will have a discount on the adoption fee. If the dog being adopted already has a sponsored adoption fee, adopters don’t need to pick a Valentine.
Instead, they'll get to choose a homemade dog bed and a toy to take home with their new best friend! We have some fabulous adult dogs just waiting to find their new families, so stop in and meet them this Friday and Saturday!
