Man the Subject of Marathon County Man Hunt Sentenced for the Incident

A man that was the subject of a man hunt over the 4th of July weekend last summer was sentenced in Marathon County Court for the incident on Monday.
Bartholomew "Bart" Baumann was wanted on a felony warrant, was on the run over the 4th of July weekend last year, and was considered armed and dangerous. The Marathon County Sheriff's Office located Baumann's vehicle first in the Town of Eau Pleine, close to Kingswood Lane and Staadt Avenue.
During the initial search, SWAT teams from Marathon County, Marshfield, and Portage County, officers from the Stratford Police Department, the Spencer Police Department, the Wisconsin State Patrol, K-9 teams, and drones were used.
During his court appearance on Monday, he pleaded guilty to convicted felon in possession of a firearm, vehicle operator flee/elude an officer, and criminal damage to property.
Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to four years in state prison and three years of extended supervision.
