Marshfield Fire and Rescue Receives Donation of Lucas CPR Device
Friday, February 7th, 2025 -- 10:00 AM

Marshfield Fire and Rescue department feels privileged to serve the community.
They are equally fortunate to have the support of its generous and caring residents, who are essential to their life-saving mission. Even though they wish to remain anonymous, the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department needs to acknowledge one such couple whose exceptional generosity has played a part in saving many lives over the years.
In the past several years they have donated three Lucas CPR devices, and this past week donated their fourth Lucas device to the department. The machines are now more than $20,000 each and will do perfect CPR freeing up of their paramedics/EMTs to perform other life-saving interventions.
In 2023, they know that their crews, using these machines, helped save 11 people who were clinically dead after their heart stopped. With each donation, this generous couple has named each unit. They are happy to welcome “Pax” into service to help save more lives.
