House in Fairchild a Total Loss After a Fire

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A home is a total loss following a fire in Fairchild, according to WEAU staff.

According to Fairchild police, a fire at a house on Highway H was called in about 6:15 a.m. on Feb. 4, 2025. No injuries are reported and everyone inside was able to get out.

Fairchild Fire and Augusta Fire responded. The American Red Cross was called to help. The home is a total loss. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Highway H was blocked off to traffic until about 10:15 as crews responded.
