The Black River Falls Chamber of Commerce is warning about a scam hitting the area.

The scam is targeting local businesses. Individuals are receiving emails from random Gmail addresses attempting to sell Black River Area Chamber email lists.

These emails are fraudulent. The Chamber never sells email lists. If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from the Chamber, please do not click any links or open any attachments.

Instead, block the sender and contact the Chamber directly if you have any questions.
