Nine Colby FFA Members Compete at District Leadership Events at Loyal High School

Nine Colby FFA members competed at the District Leadership Development Events (speaking contests) at Loyal High School.

Multiple members competed in new events and others were able to apply skills they have worked on since last year. It was a great learning experience for all involved and a great night overall.

Highlights from the night include Middle school members Allie, Beckett, Juliet, and Wyat competing in quiz bowl as a team for the first time; High school members Addy, Brielle, Hannah, and Jenelle competing in new events.

High school members Brielle, Ella, and Jenelle placing in the top 5 for their events; Brielle placing 1st in Creed Speaking; Ella placing 2nd in Employment Skills.

Brielle and Ella will be moving on to the sectional competition in Thorp this March.
