Tomah School District Reports Bullets Found in High School Boys' Bathroom Friday Morning

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) The Tomah Area School District is reporting bullets were found in the high school’s boys’ bathroom Friday morning, according to WEAU staff.
According to a Facebook post from the Tomah Area School District, an administrator with the high school was told bullets were found in the boys’ bathroom. School staff called law enforcement who investigated the situation.
No firearm was found at the school and police determined there was no threat to people at the school. While the investigation was happening, students were placed on hold.
According to the district, a hold is when administrators clear all hallways and students stay in their classroom until they are told they can leave. Students and staff continue with their day inside the classroom.
After the investigation, students were dismissed to lunch and the school day continued with a police presence.
