Neillsville Students Participate in Dorian Vocal Festival

The 75th Annual Dorian Vocal Festival was held on January 12 and 13 at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

Four Neillsville students were selected to participate, joining nearly 1,000 high school choir students from six different states to form the Dorian Festival Choir.

Kenadi Urban, Gracie Schoengarth, Karli Gross and Sebastian Whiting-O'Keefe participated in rehearsals on Sunday and Monday, followed by a concert on Monday night.

The concert included five high school-selected soloists, the Luther College Nordic Choir, and the Dorian Festival Choir. Sunday night’s concert featured performances by the Luther College Freshman Women’s and Men’s Choirs, as well as the Farmington, MN High School Choir.

Ms. Rueth also performed with the Director’s Choir.
